The City of Palmerston Library in collaboration with Drag Territory bring you Drag Queen Storytime for 2021 with a glittery, colourful, fabulous twist!

How to Adult
Celebrating the Youth Week theme #it'syourtomorrow...... 'How to Adult' is back and better!
This time we are partnering with Amy Hetherington, headspace Darwin, Somerville, Lousie Ellen, Anglicare NT, Youthworx NT and our rangers to ensure you are getting the most up to date information from the experts.
A one-week program covering the following topics:
- 12 April - 10 to 12pm How to Love Yourself
- 13 April - 10 to 12pm Money Matters
- 14 April - 10 to 12pm Making Money
- 15 April - 10 to 12pm Moving Out
- 16 April - 10 to 12pm Good Grub
- 17 April - 02 to 04pm Pet Care
All session will be held at the City of Palmerston Library
Workshops are aimed at 16 to 20 year olds and you must attend all sessions to participate.

Story Writing with Natalie Sprite

Admission: $10.00
In this hands-on workshop, you'll be guided through the process of writing three scene that will form the bones of a strong short story. You'll learn the nuts and bolts of writing craft, including plot, characterization and how to create work that is that is vibrant, sensual and powerful.

Life on the Page with Natalie Sprite

We all have stories that only we can tell. In this workshop, we will write scenes that turn the key moments of our lives into stories that are compelling and beautiful. You'll learn how to find your voice and how to structure your memories into stories. You'll also gain tools in deepening your craft and developing a regular writing practice.
