Palmerston Markets
Palmerston Markets are organised by the Palmerston and Rural Market Association. Contact them on 8988 4124 if you have any questions about the markets or would like a stall.
Markets are held in Francis Mall in the City Centre during the dry season, in front of the Palmerston Library. At one end is McDonald's Family Restaurant and at the other Palmerston Shopping Centre with Target, situated at the Bus Depot end.
On Market days, Francis Drive and the Boulevard are partly closed.
When coming from the south turn left at the traffic lights into Temple Terrace off the Stuart Highway.
From Darwin city turn right into University Avenue from Roystonea Drive, just past the Shell service station.
Buses from all areas terminate within a few minutes walk to the Markets. Taxis and Mini Buses are also available.
