Home service
If you, or someone you know is unable to visit the Library because of illness or disability you may be eligible for our Home Library Service. Members receive a regular delivery of items suited to their interests. Call the Library on 8935 9999 to register.
Computer classes
Small group (max. 5 people) Digital Literacy Classes are conducted within the Palmerston Library.
The lessons available are:
- Computer use for beginners.
- Introduction to the Internet.
- Introduction to email.
- Basic word processing.
- Digital Photo editing
These sessions are always held on a Wednesday either at 10.00am or 2.00pm, to register your interest call the library on 8935 9999.
Local history
The Local History Collection was established in 2000 and is supported by an enthusiastic Palmerston Local History Group. Volunteers provide regular support services and anyone with an interest in local history are always welcome.
