Community information

The Community Information service is available from the information desk located in the library and provides a range of both Council and Palmerston community and NT Government information. We can also search our directory for a range of social, sporting and community groups in the Palmerston area.

If you would like information from the Community Information Officers, you can:

Phone: 8935 9993,

Fax: 8935 9998 or

Email: askus@palmerston.nt.gov.au

Digital community notice board

We have 2 LCD screens in the Library displaying a digital community notice board, that is available to promote your local activity or group, or community organisation. This is also a great place to search for community information.

Community Events Banner Site

The City of Palmerston has a Community Events Banner Site located on the Stuart Highway approximately 800 Metres from the BP Palms, South of Marjorie Street. The site is available for use by not-for-profit organisations providing a community event, community groups or not-for-profit events.

Booking enquires can be taken over the phone on 8935 9976 or in person at the City of Palmerston Civic Centre, Corner of University Avenue and Chung Wah Terrace, Palmerston. An application form to display a banner on the site must be completed by the applicant and approved by the City of Palmerston. Application forms and guidelines can be found on the Forms and Permits page.
