The City of Palmerston is an active young community. The city is 21km south of the Territory's capital, Darwin, and has attracted many young families. Our population is approximately 28,000.

The City of Palmerston offices are located on the corner of Chung Wah Tce and University Ave.
Office hours are: 8.15am - 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

2010 Australia Day Awards Open
Do you know someone who deserves recognition for achievements in 2009 or has made a noteworthy contribution to Palmerston? Then now is the time to nominate them for a Citizen or Young Citizen Award 2010 for the City of Palmerston region. Perhaps you know of a great Event that occurred in 2009? Nominations are now open for Event of the Year, just download the form provided. All nominees are recognised at a special Mayoral Reception to be held in January and the winners announced on that night but presented on Australia Day.
