The Palmerston Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre offers a 50m Olympic swimming pool and a toddler pool.

It is located on the corner of Tilston Avenue and Bonson Terrace, (next to the new netball and tennis courts) parking and the entrance to the centre are off Bonson Terrace.

The pools offer patrons the chance to escape the heat of the day and relax in the shade as well as lanes for those who like to keep fit swimming laps. The grounds have manicured lawns with plenty of shade, and a kiosk provides refreshments.

The Palmerston Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre is managed for Council by the YMCA.
