City of Palmerston

Council has completed the collection of residential green waste from verges in all suburbs. Any remaining green waste can be taken to Archer Waste Transfer Station which is free for residents to access and open 7 days a week from 8.00am to 6.00pm.

No further green waste will be able to be collected as resources have now been allocated to other areas requiring attention such as parks.

The community is reminded that SOME PARKS REMAIN CLOSED to the public. Contractors are in parks carrying out preliminary clearance works however the remaining trees still need to be assessed for safety, as does play equipment. Please ensure that for your own child’s safety, they stay out of closed parks as contractors will be using heavy equipment and chainsaws.
