Shakespeare - Much Ado About Nothing

Under a setting sun, relax on the lawns at Sanctuary Lakes and join in the delight of the colourful and charming comedy that is Much Ado About Nothing from interstate company, the Essential Theatre on Friday 5 or Saturday 6 May.

Tickets can be purchased online at https://cityofpalmerston.checkfront.com/reserve/ or from Customer Service at Council’s Office during office hours. Tickets not available on the nights at the gate.

Entry is from 5pm, with the show beginning at 6pm each night.

Attendees can bring along a picnic, rug or beanbag. Food, coffee, cake will be available to purchase on the night. Responsible consumption of BYO alcohol will be allowed.

The tale tells of two pairs of lovers, the people who want them to be together and the people who try to rip them apart. Whether you’re new to theatre productions or a regular audience member we guarantee you a night to remember.

Sanctuary Lakes is located in Gunn, access is via Lakeview Boulevard.

Directed by Amanda LaBonte. Amanda has a wealth of experience producing and performing with the company and brings a fresh eye to this production. Essential Theatre’s production takes place in rural Australia in the mid-19th Century.
