Activate Kids is returning for the July school holidays with three-week of free activities for children aged 3 - 12 years in Palmerston. The block will run from Monday 1 July until Saturday 20 July 2019.
The City of Palmerston is currently seeking suppliers to submit expressions of interest to be involved in the program to provide a range of stimulating and engaging activities for children. The activities should be suitable for children who have not previously participated in the activity or are not currently active.

- How do I register?

Please note: you are only required to register once for the program, DO NOT book the individual classes through the online booking system.
- Do I have to register online for each of the classes?
No, you only have to register once to take part in the program BUT you must book in with the individual suppliers for the classes that require bookings. This information can be found on the timetable.
- Can I register at any time?
Yes, you can register at any time throughout the school holiday period.
- What do I need to bring with me to classes?
This information will be contained on the Activate KIDS timetable, which will be available on this page in May.
- Do I have to book for every class?
Bookings are required for some classes. Information on booking requirements and contact details will be contained in the block timetables available on this page in May. Please note: bookings are to be made directly with suppliers, NOT the Activate KIDS team OR website.
- What if my child hasn’t done the activity before?
Great! Activate KIDS is all about trying out new things to see if you like them. All of the suppliers must scale the activities to suit beginners, so all ability levels are encouraged to come along.
- How do I keep up to date with the program?
The Activate facebook page is the easiest way to keep up to date with the program and be notified of any last-minute changes or cancellations. We can also email the registered parents if there are any big changes.
- Can I bring along another child who isn’t registered?
Anyone that attends Activate KIDS sessions must be a registered participant for insurance reasons. As it is a free program it is simple for them to sign up before they attend with no further obligation if they do not like the program.
- I have an older/younger sibling who will need to come with us to the activity, is this ok?
Yes, siblings outside the range specified for the activity are welcome to come along but please check with the supplier to make sure it is appropriate for them to take part.
