Each year, the City of Palmerston and the Palmerston Seniors Advisory Committee hosts the Palmerston Seniors Forum to discuss matters of interest for local seniors.  The purpose of the forum is two fold: to provide relevant information to seniors on topics of interest and to discuss issues of concern. 

The council heard from the Palmerston senior community regarding what is working well, what people are concerned about and any ideas they may have to strengthen the community and make Palmerston a great place to live.

This year the 2013 Palmerston Seniors Forum will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013, from 9am to 1pm at the Gray Community Hall (Corner of Essington Avenue and Victoria Drive, Gray).  Last year the 2012 Palmerston Seniors Forum was held on Monday 27 February 2012, from 9am to 1pm and proved to be a great success. The forum included feedback on progress from issues raised at the 2011 event, guest speakers and focus group discussions.
