The Palmerston Seniors Advisory Committee advocates for the interest of seniors in the municipality.  The Committee is chaired by Alderman Heather Malone and is composed of Council staff, representatives from relevant services, and members of the community.  Key issues presented at the Annual Seniors Forum guide the work that the Seniors Advisory Committee undertake for the remainder of the year.  The Grey Goss newsletter published and distributed quarterly by the Council provides feedback on the issues that the Seniors Advisory Committee are working on and other relevant information.

Palmerston Seniors Advisory Committee is seeking nominations for 2012.

The Committee informs key players in government and non-government sectors of the needs of seniors in Palmerston and advocates for changes to address these needs.  The Terms of Reference outline the Committee's responsibilities and operation.
