The City of Palmerston is committed to sustainable living.  We will therefore endeavour to provide you with a list of recycling opportunities within in the city to discard your unwanted goods and remove these products for becoming landfill:

Totally Work Wear, 36 Georgina Cresent - Yarrawonga - will take your unwanted work boots and transform them into rubber matting to reuse in their stores. Contact:  8931 0501 www.totallyworkwear.com.au

Palmerston Power Basketball Club, accepts donations of runners, sneakers & basketball boots, in kids and adults sizes and donates them to players / kids in need of shoes. Donations can be left in the box located at the YMCA Recreation  Centre in Palmerston. So far they have put 50 pairs of shoes on local kids.

City of Palmerston, Council Offices corner of Temple Terrace and University Avenue, are happy to take possession of your old unwanted mobile phones with a collection box situated in the foyer of reception, recycling phones to raise money  for Youth Cancer Prevention/Treatment through http://youcan.org.au/.
