Council runs a Local Area Traffic Management program, known as LATM. When work is due to be done in your street, we will write to you with details as well as make information available in the foyer and through the website.
INBOUND AND OUTBOUND – CHUNG WAH TERRACE NIGHT WORKS
Night works to resurface Chung Wah Terrace will take place from Wednesday 27 September in the following locations:
- inbound from 90m past Lambrick Avenue to 80m past Emery Avenue; and
- inbound and outbound from Rolyat Street to Essington/Buscall Avenue.
To reduce disruptions for road users, the majority of the work will occur at night between the hours of 8pm and 6am. Full closure of the lanes will be in place during the works. Motorists are asked to allow for extra travel time and follow posted detour signs. The carriageway will be open to traffic as per normal during day light hours, with reduced speed limits in place for safety reasons.
Traffic management will be in place to ensure a safe traffic environment for road users and motorists are asked to adhere to all signage in the area. Click here to for more details and to view a map of the area.
YARRAWONGA ROAD NORTH & WALLABY HOLTZE ROAD
As part of the Capital Works program, Council will be undertaking road works along Yarrawonga Road North and Wallaby Holtze Road. These works have commenced and it is expected to be completed by January 2018.
Motorists are asked to show caution in these areas and obey all traffic management controls and devices in place during the course of the works. Any inconvenience during the construction period is regretted. Click here to view a map of the area.
